Alene Nitzky finishes first half of “Death Valley Desert Double”

Alene finished the conventional race at 5:30 this morning, setting a new personal record at 45 hours 30 minutes–135 miles down and 150 miles to go! Tomorrow she will begin her return trip to Telescope Peak and Death Valley. Check out her blog at alenegonebad.blogspot.com for more details.
